Onpoint has responded to the call and is getting behind outback donations, a caring school teacher – now also a very new NFP community organisation. Jay is teaching in an Indigenous Community in Tennant Creek and recently sent out a call asking for children’s clothing and shoe donations, sized from newborn to size 10.
Jay said “Sadly clothing is just one of the basic needs that is not always accessible out in remote locations, a small donation means a child is more likely to be equipped to come to school.”
So we invite you to get involved, if you have a few items to spare at home (you may want to coordinate a drive at school or work?) drop us a line and we make sure it is collected and sent to outback donations. Suggested items are noted below.
These are some ideas of what we’re looking for; T-shirts, Shorts, Dresses, Long sleeve tops, Track pants, Jeans/pants, Cardigans, Jackets/jumpers, Socks, Children’s shoes in a variety of sizes.
